Student Survey on Alcohol, Tobacco, Psychoactive Medication and Illicit Drug Use, Gaming, Gambling, and Mental Well-being

Dear student,

You are about to take part in a unique and important study that has been conducted every four years for the past 20 years, involving tens of thousands of students across Flanders. This research provides valuable insights into substance use and how it evolves over time – a topic that affects many students.

The survey will take about 25 minutes to complete. We understand this is a time investment, but it is one that pays off. By participating, you help make nightlife and leisure activities safer and more enjoyable while also contributing to reducing risks related to substance use. Additionally, you help shape your educational institution’s policies on these issues. This is valuable not just for you but for future generations of students as well.

Take your time and answer as honestly as possible – there are no wrong answers! You will not be directly identified anywhere in the questionnaire. More information about the study and data protection can be found here.
